Valid Purr & Mutt Voucher Codes & Purr & Mutt Discount Codes UK, November, 2026

Choosing a gift for someone who treats their pet like a family member is a lovely problem to have. It is also a slightly tricky one. Another mug will not do, and a generic toy for the dog will not say much about how well you know the person. A custom pet portrait from PURR & MUTT sits right in the sweet spot: it is personal, it is made from a photo the recipient already adores, and it works for almost any moment in the UK calendar.

This guide is built for gift-givers. Instead of walking through a website page by page, we go occasion by occasion, from birthdays and Christmas to memorials, adoption days and new-home presents, so you can jump straight to the moment you are shopping for. Along the way you will find plain-English notes on photos, styles, timing, delivery, payment and returns, using only what the official store states at the time of writing.

Quick answer for busy shoppers: to get the best price on a gift from PURR & MUTT, decide who the portrait is for, pick a style that suits the recipient's home, choose a clear photo, check the free preview, and look for sale banners or a voucher before you pay. The official site advertises free worldwide delivery, free instant previews, printing in 1 to 3 working days and UK delivery in 2 to 3 working days after dispatch. Always confirm the final total on the checkout page.

What a PURR & MUTT portrait actually is (a quick primer for gift-givers)

PURR & MUTT is an online store that turns your own pet photo into a custom portrait. Each order begins with a real animal, a real photo and a style you choose. The official site shows named styles, including Classic, The King, The Queen, Royal, Paris and The Outlaw, so there is a look for a cosy cottage as well as for a bold, modern flat.

It is not only for dogs and cats, either. The store lists portraits for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles and horses. If your friend's pride and joy is a bearded dragon or a cob called Biscuit, you are covered.

Formats you can give

The official help page mentions prints, framed prints, canvases and blankets, plus digital copies sent by email or SMS. Sizes and availability can vary by style and product, so check the product page for the one you want.

A gift that does not need guessing sizes

There is no clothing size to get wrong and no colour to return. The recipient's own pet is the star, so the gift lands as personal rather than random. The only things to get right are the photo, the style and the timing, and this guide helps with all three.

Before you pick an occasion: three decisions that make every gift easier

Whatever the date in your diary, three choices shape the result. Settle these first and the rest feels simple.

Decision one: which photo?

The photo matters more than anything else. If you can, ask the recipient's partner, a sibling or a friend to share a favourite, or scroll back through social posts you already have permission to use. Look for these qualities:

• A sharp face, with clear eyes and both ears visible.
• Soft daylight, such as a spot by a window or an overcast walk.
• A camera angle at the pet's eye level rather than from above.
• A tidy background without clutter.
• An original file, not a screenshot or a heavily compressed copy.
• A pose that looks like them: the head tilt, the sleepy blink, the proud sit.

If your best photo has a busy background, the help page invites you to email the team for a suitability check before you commit.

Decision two: which style?

Think about the recipient's home and personality, not your own taste. A formal, regal look suits a Victorian terrace or a hallway with dark wood. A cleaner contemporary style sits well in a minimalist flat with neutral walls. A cheeky, characterful design can brighten a kitchen, a home office or a child's bedroom.

Decision three: which format?

A framed print is the easy choice for a shelf or hallway. A canvas has a gallery feel. A blanket is cosy and practical, a good pick for someone who likes keepsakes they can actually use. A digital copy can be a thoughtful extra, but remember it is delivered after the design is approved and the recipient needs an email address or mobile number to receive it.

Birthdays: the all-rounder gift

Birthdays are the most common reason people look for a pet portrait, and for good reason. It suits a first birthday of a new puppy as much as a fortieth birthday of the owner.

A birthday gift for a pet lover in your family

If you are shopping for a parent, grandparent or sibling who dotes on their animal, a portrait is a gift that says you notice what matters to them. It feels more thoughtful than flowers and lasts a lot longer.

A birthday gift for the pet itself

Some owners throw a proper party for their dog. A portrait is a fun way to mark a pet's birthday, and it makes a charming display beside the birthday cards.

A milestone birthday gift for a friend

For a big-number birthday, pair a portrait of the friend's pet with a card that tells the story behind the photo. A framed print is a safe, smart choice because it is ready to hang.

Birthday timing tips

• Order at least two to three weeks ahead so there is time for the preview stage.
• Printing is listed at 1 to 3 working days, with most items printed and shipped within one working day, and UK delivery at 2 to 3 working days after shipping confirmation.
• Check the delivery estimate for your own address before you commit to a date.

Christmas: plan early, wrap happily

Christmas is the busiest time of year for any gift, and custom items are no exception. The good news is that a pet portrait suits the season beautifully. It is warm, personal and a little bit different from the usual pile of presents.

Who to buy for at Christmas

• The person who says they want nothing, then lights up at a photo of their dog.
• A couple whose cat is effectively their first child.
• A grandparent who has everything but loves seeing pictures of the grandpets.
• A colleague in a Secret Santa swap, if the budget allows and you know their pet.

Start in the autumn

Do not leave Christmas orders for December. Courier and post services across the UK are at their busiest, and a custom product needs time for a preview and any tweaks. Begin in the autumn, choose your photo, approve the design and then relax.

Blankets and framed prints as Christmas gifts

A blanket is a natural winter gift, soft enough for a sofa and personal enough to be kept for years. A framed print works for people who prefer something for the wall. Whichever you choose, check the final price against the format you actually want.

A word on delivery and gifting

Orders with more than one product may arrive in separate parcels. That is normal, and tracking messages show each one. If you are buying for several people, keep a short list of what is arriving when, so nothing is wrapped in a hurry.

Mother's Day and Father's Day: for the proud pet parents

Plenty of people in the UK describe themselves as a "dog mum" or "cat dad", and those two Sundays in the calendar are a charming excuse to say so with a gift. These are lovely moments to give a portrait from the whole family, or from the pet itself, if you are feeling playful.

A portrait from the family pet

A card signed with a paw print and a framed portrait of the pet is a simple, heartfelt way to celebrate a parent who is also a pet parent. It combines humour and sentiment, which is hard to do with most gifts.

For your own mum or dad

If your parents have a dog, cat or rabbit they love, a portrait gives them something to display in the hallway or living room. It is a good fit for people who prefer a keepsake to a gadget.

Timing for both days

Allow a couple of weeks. The preview stage is quick, but you will want time to ask for any changes. Once an order is printing, the official help page says no further changes can be made, so do the checking early.

Anniversaries and weddings: celebrating a household

An anniversary gift for a couple with a shared pet says something touching: this animal is part of your story. A portrait can be a gift for a first anniversary, a tenth or any in between.

Wedding presents with a pet twist

Some couples include their dog in the wedding day itself. A portrait of the dog in a smart style, perhaps from a photo taken that day, makes a memorable gift for the newlyweds or from them to their families.

Choose a style that suits both partners

When two people share a home, pick a style that is easy for both to live with. A timeless or classic look is a safe option. If you know they enjoy bold decor, a more dramatic design might feel right.

Adoption days and gotcha days: marking the day they came home

Many owners remember the exact date they brought a pet home. Whether you call it an adoption day, a gotcha day or a homecoming anniversary, it is a lovely reason to give a portrait.

A gift for a rescue owner

If your friend adopted a rescue animal, a portrait is a heartfelt way to celebrate how far the pet has come. Pick a photo that shows their relaxed, happy self, the kind of picture that makes the owner say "look at you now".

A gift for a new pet owner

For a first-time owner, a portrait of their new puppy or kitten is a sweet welcome-home present. Babies grow fast, so choose a photo that captures them just as they are.

A gift for a child

Children love seeing their pet turned into a "famous" character on the wall. A playful style hung in a bedroom or playroom can make a pet feel like part of the family tree.

New home gifts: making a house feel like home

A friend moving into a new place has plenty to think about. A portrait of their pet gives the walls a personality from the very first week, and it is a gift that is easy to unwrap and hang.

A housewarming idea that stands out

Instead of the usual plant or candle, a pet portrait says that you know who lives there, including the four-legged members. It works well for flat-sharers, couples and families alike.

Matching a style to a new space

If you have seen the new place, use that. A neutral flat suits a cleaner style, a period house suits a classic look, and a bright family kitchen suits something with more character.

Memorials and remembrance: a gentle gift

Losing a pet is hard, and many people want a thoughtful way to mark a life that mattered. A portrait can be a quiet, lasting tribute, and giving one to a grieving friend can be a deeply kind gesture if the moment feels right.

How to approach it with care

• Check that the person would welcome a gift like this. Some are ready to see a photo on the wall, others need more time.
• Choose a photo that shows the pet as the owner remembers them, not necessarily the best-quality picture.
• Keep the message simple. A short, warm note is better than a long one.

Using the preview stage with sensitivity

The free preview matters even more here. The goal is for the portrait to look like the pet the person remembers. Use the preview to check the face, the colouring and the expression, and ask for adjustments if something is not quite right.

A note on timing

There is no deadline for a remembrance gift, so take your time. If you are buying for yourself, give yourself permission to wait until you feel ready.

Retirements, thank-yous and "just because"

Not every gift has a date. Sometimes you simply want to say thank you to the neighbour who looked after the cat, or celebrate a colleague who is retiring and spends every weekend walking their dog.

A thank-you that is personal

A portrait of a pet is a warm way to thank a dog walker, a vet nurse or a friend who has been there through a tough spell. It shows that you paid attention.

The "just because" gift

The best gifts often arrive on an ordinary Tuesday. If you spot a photo of a friend's pet that makes you smile, that is reason enough.

How to order a gift from PURR & MUTT, step by step

The process is straightforward, and the official site highlights free instant previews so you can see the result before you commit.

1. Open the official website using the link on this page.
2. Choose a style that suits the person you are buying for.
3. Pick the format and size.
4. Upload a clear photo of their pet.
5. Look at the free preview and request changes if needed.
6. Add the order to your basket and paste any voucher into the promo box.
7. Check the order summary, pay and keep your confirmation email.

Making changes after you order

If you need to change the size, design or product, contact the team as soon as possible. Changes are only possible before production starts.

What happens with digital copies

Digital copies are sent once you approve the design. If this is a gift, make sure you have a valid email address or mobile number for the person who will receive it.

Delivery to the UK: what the official site says

When you are buying for a date, delivery details matter. Here is what the official site states at the time of writing.

• Free delivery: the site advertises free worldwide delivery, so UK shoppers do not need to reach a spend threshold. Terms can change, so check at checkout.
• Printing: 1 to 3 working days, though most items are printed and shipped within one working day.
• UK delivery: 2 to 3 working days after shipping confirmation.
• Couriers: the help page names Royal Mail and DPD for the UK.
• Separate parcels: orders with several items may arrive in more than one parcel.

If a parcel is late

Check your tracking first. If it has been delayed longer than expected, contact customer service with your order number so the team can look into it.

A simple timeline for gift deadlines

Count backwards from the date you need the gift. Add a few days for the preview stage, add the printing window, then the UK delivery window, and finally a buffer for the unexpected. If the answer is tight, order sooner rather than later.

Payment options you can use at checkout

The official site shows a broad choice of ways to pay: American Express, Apple Pay, Diners Club, Discover, Google Pay, Klarna, Maestro, Mastercard, PayPal, Shop Pay, UnionPay and Visa.

Picking the one that suits you

• Cards are quick and familiar.
• Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay save you typing in details.
• PayPal is handy if you like to keep card details out of the checkout.
• Klarna offers a pay-later style option where available. Read the terms first and use it only if the plan suits your budget.

Options can vary by device, location and order, so the checkout page shows the final list.

Returns, refunds and gift cards: know the rules before you give

A custom product follows different rules from an off-the-shelf one. These points come from the official help page at the time of writing.

What is covered

Returns are accepted if an item arrives damaged or in an unacceptable condition, and a replacement is issued. If something is lost or damaged, email the team with photos so a replacement can be arranged.

What is not covered

Returns are not accepted for change of mind, because each order is made for you. Items that are already processing cannot be refunded or cancelled. This is exactly why the photo and preview stages deserve your full attention.

Gift cards

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled, so be sure of the amount before you buy.

Refund timing

When a refund is approved, you receive an email confirmation, and the money can take up to 10 working days to arrive. Your bank may add a little time of its own.

Keep your records

Save the confirmation email, your order number and the photos you uploaded. If something needs sorting, having them handy makes things faster.

Getting in touch with customer support

The official site lists a UK-based customer service team, available 9:00am to 4:00pm GMT, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. The help page aims to reply to emails within 48 hours. Order and site enquiries go through the contact form on the website, where you can pick "My Order", "A problem with the site" or "General Enquiry" and add your order number. Business and press enquiries have their own email link on the contact page.

How to get a quicker answer

• Use the contact form and include your order number.
• Explain the issue clearly in a single message.
• Attach photos if an item arrives damaged.
• Allow for weekends and bank holidays.

Staying safe

Only use contact options published on the official website. Be cautious of anyone who messages you first, asks for payment details or tries to take the conversation to another platform.

Smart ways to spend less on a PURR & MUTT gift

Good value is about getting the right gift, on time, for a fair total. A few habits help you do that.

• Check for sale banners. The official site shows promotions from time to time.
• Look at VoucherCodes360 before you pay. We gather current PURR & MUTT offers with their conditions so you can see what applies in a minute.
• Copy and paste codes. Typing by hand is how mistakes happen.
• Compare formats. A print may suit your budget better than a canvas.
• Order early. Rushing leaves less room to use the preview properly.
• Do not buy just to qualify for an offer. A reduction on something the recipient will not love is not real value.
• Read the order summary. Confirm the style, size, format and total before you pay.

A three-question test for any deal

Do I love the style? Is the total, with any reduction applied, within my budget? Will it arrive in time? Three yeses and you have a good deal.

How to use VoucherCodes360 for your order

• Start with the newest offers at the top of the page.
• Read the short description to see what the offer covers.
• Click to copy the code; the store opens in a new tab.
• Paste it at checkout and compare the totals before you pay.
• Come back before bigger orders, such as a set of gifts for Christmas.

When you are ready, visit the official site: Open PURR & MUTT.
